Two intranasal magnets on opposite sides of the septum: after one is removed in the clinic, radiography and CT confirm that the other remains embedded in the septal mucosa.
This case demonstrates imaging, endoscopic removal of the retained magnet, septal inspection and local care. MRI had been performed for an unrelated reason and showed metal artefacts; it is not presented as an indicated test for a known magnet. Reported CT dimensions: 3 × 3 × 6 mm. The operative report documents no septal perforation or contralateral mucosal injury, and records Surgicel placement and septal splints. The selected excerpt does not show the full splint-placement procedure.
Reviews at ten days and two months were reported as uneventful, with good healing and no signs of septal perforation. Follow-up is presented as text: the endoscopic footage is intraoperative.
